About Mary Margaret Crowson, PT, DPT

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Mary Margaret Crowson has been involved as a patient of GT Physical Therapy, a student intern, a physical therapy technician, a student physical therapist, and now as a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy. We are proud to have her as our Clinical Director in training for the main clinic (HQ) in Starkville, MS.

Mary Margaret graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical Center’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program in May 2011, at which time she and her husband returned to their hometown. Mary Margaret excelled in the DPT program, serving as group leader for several research projects as well as being inducted into the Alpha Eta Honor Society for allied health professionals.

Prior to UMC, she graduated from Winston Academy as Valedictorian followed by achieving her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science-Pre-PT from Mississippi University for Women Summa cum Laude in addition to divisional honors.

Since her first experience with physical therapy (at our clinic) when she was 13 years old, she has aspired to become a physical therapist and is excited to be returning to GTPT as a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy.

Her passion is helping people get out of pain and get moving pain-free ASAP so they can enjoy their life, sport, or work. Mary Margaret’s areas of interest and specialty are shoulder and spine (neck, mid back, and low back) problems.
